On a foggy but no wind Sunday morning, nine of us swam from 18th Street south on an opposing current to the Manhattan Beach Pier or beyond and back to 18th Street and a turbulent return to the beach to enjoy Mehida's famous peach gobbler and other tasties in celebration of Tom's 75th birthday the next day:
