Don and I ocean swam again this morning, Friday, Nov 21, 2008, after passing on last Wednesday's ocean swim due to dense fog at shoreline. The ocean this morning was calm with the ocean temp steady at 52 degrees (still face freeze upon entry and numb hands and feet at the finish).
This summer has been very unusual in terms of surface calm and sunny mornings and warmer ocean temp, all of which, favor a successful ocean swim season through Thanksgiving weekend.
