2009 Ocean Swim Season

The group began swimming in the ocean in May, wetsuits being mandatory. By June the wetsuits were not needed and so far, the ocean temp has held up thru September (70 degrees). As such there have been 3 or 4 of us swimming on a regular basis Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Beginning in May, a new swimmer has joined the 18th Street Ocean Workout group. Matt is now swimming with us older types and has vastly improved his triathlon swimming capability. Matt usually has his wetsuit on but this picture was taken following our ocean swim on Sep 27th:
